About the role
Summary Reporting to Manager, Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to; coordination of Retrofit project material requirements for Enerflex Ltd. Material management support for Retrofit Engineering by creating and assisting with uploads of material requirements into our inventory management system (IMACS/SAP). Purchasing support for our Retrofit, and Warranty teams.
We seek a candidate who has a core foundation of integrity and is willing and able to use commitment and creativity to drive our organization towards success. This position is based out of Enerflex’ s SE Calgary office.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Work collaboratively with Retrofit Purchasing, Project Management, Engineering, and Field Foreman to ensure consistency and accuracy when creating and maintaining our material requirements within SAP and supporting systems
- Issue RFQs, prepare and execute purchase orders to support our Retrofit and warranty requirements
- Expedite materials based on supplier promised dates and project scheduled dates for on time delivery
- Address invoice discrepancies efficiently
- Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action
- Coordinate logistics and transportation requirements with our preferred carriers to ensure efficiency in cost and delivery of cross-border shipments. Source alternatives as required
- Manage and maintain the BOM Queue within IMACS/EDM (internal system) for Retrofit
- Ensure that the field crews have the correct field and engineering documents – line lists, process flow diagrams, equipment lists safety forms etc.
- Assist the Project Managers with the technical and engineering requirements for assigned projects
- Coordinate the reassembly projects and any deficiency and warranty claims
Qualifications
- Experience within the natural gas industry an asset
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards (CSA, B31.3) and instrumentation and controls are an asset
- 5+ years of working knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain Management
- Preference will be given to applicants with purchasing or project coordination background
- Proven accuracy and efficiency in data entry, proficient in Excel; preference will be given to applicants with SAP experience
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work collaboratively between departments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as solid organizational skills is able to prioritize effectively within a fast-paced work environment
