Key Responsibilities Repair & Maintenance

• Diagnose and repair all makes/models of engines and power generators
• Perform preventative maintenance with efficiency and minimal supervision

Technical Leadership

• Create and lead internal training programs for generator technicians
• Support team members with complex troubleshooting and technical questions

Customer Interaction

• Communicate with customers professionally, courteously, and respectfully

Documentation & Compliance

• Follow all procedures and complete required paperwork accurately and on time
• Safely operate a company vehicle and maintain a clean driving record

Additional Requirements

• Participate in after-hours service call rotation
• Travel out of town when required

Requirements & Skills

• Strong mechanical expertise: repairs to engines, water pumps, thermostats, lift pumps, governors, etc.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills in both mechanical and electrical systems
• Solid understanding of A/C power fundamentals
• Must own a complete set of mechanical and electrical hand tools
• Strong leadership abilities and team-motivating mindset
• Excellent work ethic, self-motivated, and dependable
• Able to work independently and collaboratively

Qualifications

• Electrical Ticket or Red Seal Mechanic Certification
• EGSA Certification (preferred)
• ASTT Certification
• Diploma from a relevant technical institute
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Minimum 15 years of experience as a Power Generation Technician
