Human Resources Recruiter
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Recruiter manages the full life cycle of the recruitment process which includes needs analysis, candidate screening, interviewing, making selection recommendations to hiring managers, preparing offers of employment, and managing the orientation and onboarding process.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Responsible for the full recruitment process: communicating with managers to assess hiring needs, posting job vacancies, telephone pre-screening, completing interviews and reference checks, and preparing offers of employment.

Manage all aspects of the new employee orientation process: deliver weekly classroom orientation sessions, assess and update orientation information as required, prepare and process new hire paperwork to ensure HRIS system accuracy.

General HR office administration including data entry, document preparation, legislative research, filing, and monitoring & ordering office supplies.

Assist with the planning and execution of company events.

Ensure all HR requirements are carried out professionally and efficiently in accordance with legislation and Orlick Policy.

Local travel required to maintain a presence at multiple production facilities in the Hamilton / Stoney Creek area.
Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

Minimum 2 - 3 years recruiting experience

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Results and goals driven

Detail oriented with proven time management and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
-
Excellent verbal / written communication skills

Knowledge of current employment legislation

Intermediate MS Office skills
