About the role
PURPOSE
The IT/Facilities Coordinator will partner with site leaders and will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of company facilities while managing administrative and IT services that support day-to-day business operations. This role ensures a well-functioning workplace environment and delivers high-quality administrative support to enhance organizational productivity.
- Initial point of contact for all computer and system related concerns from employees Install and configure computer systems and applications
- Manage IT inventory outlined by policy
- Maintains a schedule system for cleaning, repair, inventory and maintenance of furniture and IT related equipment
- Ensure site leadership team is kept abreast of all ongoing IT and Facilities projects
- Ensure building security systems are in working order and maintained
- Day to day building maintenance, repairs, and IT related concerns Handle office administration functions, including reception and supply coordination
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Responsible for office space planning and workplace optimization in production and training environments
- Coordinate and maintain emergency response procedures, evacuation plans, and documentation
- Negotiate and manage contracts for services agreements (cleaning, equipment, etc).
- Support budget planning and cost control for facilities and admin functions.

qualifications
- Post secondary education in Facility Management, Operations, IT or a related field would be an asset
- 3+ years of experience in facilities management, office administration, IT operations or corporate services
- Knowledge of computer software, applications, hardware, networking & communication
- Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows and Mac OS
- A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required, as this role involves occasional travel to various facilities and operations locations as needed
- Working knowledge of office property management operations and processes would be an asset.
- Excellent stakeholder communication, customer service orientation, and issue resolution; ability to influence across functions.
