Bilton Welding & Manufacturing Ltd. is seeking highly skilled Journeymen and Apprentice Insulators to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals who take pride in delivering high-quality work, ensuring safety, and contributing to innovative projects in the Oil & Gas industry.

**Position:**Insulator – 2nd & 3rd year Apprentices or Journeymen

**Location:**Innisfail, Alberta

**Schedule:**Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

**Type:**Full-Time

Your Role:

• Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications to determine insulation requirements and select the type of insulation needed.

• Measuring and cutting insulating material to required dimensions using hand and power tools.

• Reinforce policies to ensure standards are being met and that safe working habits are enforced.

• Applying and securing insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other applications, and installation methods

• Inspect products during and after work is completed to ensure products are being built to Bilton standards.

• Actively participate as part of the pipefitting team

• Fit insulation around obstructions, between studs, or shape insulation materials and protective coverings

• Install vapor barriers and finish insulated surfaces by applying metal cladding, canvas or plastic sheeting.

• Other duties, as advised by Foreman.

What You Bring:

• 2 years’ previous experience in an Apprentice Insulator role.
• Registered with the Alberta Apprenticeship board.
• Relevant trade certification
• An aptitude to be mechanically inclined
• Attention to detail
• A valid driver’s license
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines
