About the role
Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Residential New Construction Plumber to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has strong rough-in and finishing skills, understands blueprint interpretation, and can work independently while maintaining high-quality standards.
This role works closely with site supervisors, builders, and team leads to ensure projects stay on schedule and exceed expectations.
Responsibilities
- Complete rough-in plumbing for new residential builds
- Install water distribution, drain, waste, and vent systems
- Set fixtures, tubs, shower valves, and finishing trim
- Read and interpret blueprints and site plans
- Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing-related issues on-site
- Ensure work meets Alberta building codes and safety requirements
- Coordinate with site leads, builders, and project managers
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite
Qualifications
- Journeyman Plumber (preferred) or Registered Apprentice (3rd or 4th year)
- Experience in residential new construction plumbing
- Strong understanding of Alberta Plumbing Code
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work in varying conditions
