Peer Support Program Assistant Intern (Paid) Full Time: Anticipated length May-August

We are currently looking for aPeer Support Program Assistant Internat ourEdmonton basein the Safety department.
While you may not be flying the helicopter or providing patient care, as a member of STARS’ Safety team, you will play an important role in STARS’ life-saving mission. Be part of something bigger. Be part of our team.
Key Responsibilities: Data Collection, Tracking & Reporting (40%)
- Support refinement and ongoing maintenance of data tracking systems (usage, themes, onboarding status, training completion, trends of organizational peer support program)
- Compile and organize qualitative and quantitative data for internal program review
- Assist in preparing the annual evaluation report by summarizing de-identified data and key insights
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy standards in all data handling
Change Management & Program Development Support (35%)
- Assist in developing onboarding materials, orientation session content, and education resources for peer supporters
- Help coordinate quarterly peer team meetings, including agenda preparation, logistics, and documentation of shared outputs
- Support the development and distribution of communication materials in collaboration with Communications & Marketing (e.g., Pulse content, posters, lanyard campaign)
- Contribute to the awareness and engagement campaign to increase program visibility across the organization
Administrative & Organizational Support (25%)
- Help track milestones against the project timeline and ensure deliverables remain on schedule
- Support documentation of referral pathways, psychologist roster updates, and activation tier revisions
Qualifications & Requirements:
- New grad or current student enrolled in a post secondary institution, preferably majoring in Psychology, Social Work or Education with a focus on personal well-being and mental health
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a mature, professional, and calm demeanor
- Advanced time management skills, ability to thrive with multiple priorities of focus
