Position Description
Support the efficient daily operations of TBTE by overseeing administrative functions and coordinating activities across our multidisciplinary engineering divisions. Apply strong organizational and leadership skills to support project delivery, office logistics, and staff coordination in a fast-paced, technical environment. This role ensures effective communication between administrative and project teams while promoting a professional, organized, and safety-conscious workplace.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including administrative support for project teams, scheduling, document control, and correspondence.
- Coordinate communication and information flow between engineering, field, and management staff to support project efficiency.
- Oversee office logistics, including supplies, equipment, facilities, and vendor relationships, ensuring readiness to support field and design operations.
- Assist with onboarding, training, health and safety initiatives, and administrative support for technical and field personnel.
- Support project documentation, procurement, and report preparation as required by project managers and technical leads.
- Assist with health and safety coordination, including record keeping, incident reporting, and ensuring compliance with OHSA and company policies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in administrative processes and project support systems.
- Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative office culture aligned with TBTE’s values.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong administrative and organizational expertise within a technical or project-driven environment, supported by a diploma or degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field. The role requires 5–10 years of experience in office management or administrative coordination, preferably within an engineering, construction, or consulting firm. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Experience supporting engineering or field operations, health and safety administration, and project coordination is considered an asset.
This position is classified as full time. Rate of pay will be commensurate with related experience and qualifications ($25.00 per hour +).
