What to Expect:

As Assistant Shopper Marketing Manager, you will be working on a variety of projects across the portfolio. This role is a great opportunity to build strategic and fulsome recommendations, manage planning & development of OMNI programs in support of a specific portfolio, and provide overall support to the team across various initiatives. You will be working daily with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams, with lots of autonomy and support to thrive. This position is an existing vacancy.

A day in the life:

  • Provide fact-based analytical data to support shopper and customer initiatives, to drive portfolio profitability and growth
  • Manage the end-to-end planning and execution of key Innovation & Renovation display projects, collaborating and influencing effectively across various stakeholders and agency/vendor partners to execute with excellence
  • Manage the assortment, inventory, and ordering of POS and Display tools
  • Manage Display and Merchandising strategies to support brand and category plans.
  • Support the team in measuring the return-on-investment year over year on activations, promotions and overall merchandising tools.
  • Prepare and present monthly portfolio and competitive performance reviews vs. KPIs using available data tools such as Nielsen, to provide a complete understanding of category dynamics and business health
  • Support the team in managing budget spend for strategic Partnerships and Presence
  • Leverage portfolio, shopper and marketplace data to recommend shopper marketing strategies, and activities for the 18 Month Shopper Marketing Plan (aligned with 3 Year Brand Roadmap and learning from previous years programs)
  • Support and collaborate with internal team members and external stakeholders across various initiatives and high-profile launches

Role Requirements

  • University degree in Business or Marketing, and or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of marketing experience required.
  • Must be able to manage change and evolve in a fast-paced dynamic and matrix environment.
  • Proficient computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other MS applications.

  • Understanding of commercialization process within CPG with ability to leverage Nestlé processes, resources, and environment.
  • Self-motivated, results focused with strong analytical skills and curiosity.
  • Curious, Entrepreneurial spirit and innovative thinker.
  • Passionate to build and grow brands, with ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to challenge status quo.
