About the role
Comec is looking for Pipefitters for Maintenance at the Cenovus Foster Creek facility. Competitive JM rates. Travel allowance in place. Shift is 7&7. 12-hour days. 80 hour RT and 4 hours OT per shift. Camp work
The pipefitters will be required to perform a number of Maintenance activities from opening and closing tanks, vessels, boilers, exchangers, rigging various components, working hand in hand with other trades, work in confined spaces, working at heights, blinding, hydro testing, fit-up and working under air.
Job would be a camp position. Workers will be responsible for getting to and from camp. Bussing and transport available once on site.
Required Qualifications include:
- Hold a Valid recognized Journeyperson Pipefitting/Steam fitting Ticket. (If out of Province ticket must have Red Seal ticket) or indentured in the apprentice program within Alberta
- Valid class 5 Drivers license
- Valid H2S alive ticket, CSTS2020, Confined space, Fall protection.
- Experience in SAGD facilities
- Standard First Aid, Elevated Work Platform ticket, Skid steer ticket, rigging tickets, carry deck ticket, TDG, Air Brakes, Class 3 driver’s license, Mask fit testing for Scott and North masks as needed.
