About The Role
As a Cybersecurity Analyst at Procom, you will play a vital role in defending our organization’s digital infrastructure from cyber threats. You will be responsible for monitoring security alerts, investigating suspicious activities, and identifying vulnerabilities within our systems and networks. Your insights and recommendations will help strengthen our security posture, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical information. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Prior experience in cybersecurity, IT support, or network administration is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should have a solid understanding of Windows, Linux, and networking concepts, along with familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are advantageous. Strong analytical skills, troubleshooting ability, and excellent communication skills are essential. Basic scripting or programming knowledge will be considered a plus, as it enhances the ability to automate tasks and analyze security data effectively.
Responsibilities
Monitor security alerts and analyze logs to identify potential threats or breaches. Investigate suspicious activities and coordinate incident response efforts promptly. Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies to mitigate risks. Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices. Assist in developing and enforcing security policies and procedures. Collaborate with IT teams and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into daily operations. Document security incidents, responses, and lessons learned for continuous improvement. Participate in security audits and compliance activities to meet regulatory requirements. Provide training and awareness programs to staff regarding cybersecurity best practices.
