ServiceNow Developer
About the role
Description iA Financial Group has embarked on a transformation aimed at improving the user experience and the quality of its services. The Service Management team’s mission is to deliver high-quality IT services by ensuring the management and support of the organization’s technologies. The team is responsible for implementing and maintaining effective processes and tools to meet user needs while ensuring the security and stability of systems. It works in close collaboration with other departments to ensure IT services are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and to proactively address evolving needs. The ultimate goal is to optimize user and business productivity by ensuring the availability and reliability of IT services.
In this context, the selected candidate will participate in the development and enhancement of solutions aimed at improving the user experience and IT service efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Understand and validate business requirements in close collaboration with the Product Owner (PO) and/or end users.
- Work with the team to design, program, configure, or integrate solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs, including advanced scripting for each case.
- Develop integrations using SOAP/REST/Integration Hub and Service Graph Connectors.
- Design and automate process workflows.
- Load, manipulate, and maintain data exchanged between ServiceNow and other systems.
- Lead delegated development of components, Flow Designer, and workspaces.
- Provide technical support for solutions once in production (incident resolution, maintenance, monitoring, etc.).
- Actively contribute to ensuring that all required documentation is complete, valid, and up to date.
- Collaborate in all team activities (planning ceremonies, definition of done, etc.).
- Participate in ServiceNow platform administration and support activities.
Required Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or any other relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
- At least 3 years of experience building and developing ServiceNow applications and integrating with third-party systems.
- Strong background in software development, software architecture, data structures, algorithms, and SDLC models.
- Excellent knowledge of ITIL best practices.
- Proven expertise with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITAM, and ITOM.
- Strong communication skills, structured and able to translate technical concepts clearly; team-oriented with good synthesis skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent coordination, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
