Keyholder 20hr - York Outlet Store

SO WHATS THE STORY – KEYHOLDER - YORK OUTLET STORE
We are looking for an engaging and responsible Keyholder to lead our diverse shopfloor team at our YORK OUTLET STORE store.
Our Keyholders do everything our Sales Assistants do, you'll continue in delivering a seamless and consistent customer experience, now acting as a role model to the team, whilst also at times providing operational support to the management team & guidance to the overall store team. Acting as a trusted key holder you can expect at times to play a more prominent & pivotal role in the team ensuring our doors are open in line with store opening & closing hours and at times be leading on delivery activity.
This will be for 20 hours per week. Shifts will be varied across 7 days and we'll also need you to be able to help out covering the management teams holidays at times.
THE GIG – KEYHOLDER - YORK OUTLET STORE
- Take responsibility of opening & closing the store when necessary, following all relevant procedures.
- Hit and exceed individual sales targets whilst contributing to the wider performance of the store: Sales, Conversion, UPT, ATV.
- Lead on delivery procedures when necessary, processing all stock in line with company expectations.
- Assistant the store management team with day to day retail operations and health & safety procedures e.g. delivery, clock in/out, stock takes, replenishment, floor management and maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
- Drive high standards of customer service within the store, ensuring every customer receives an exceptional, unforgettable experience
- Handle till transactions in line with operating procedures and assist with more complex enquiries from customers.

- Good IT skills – confident to use Microsoft Office and POS systems.

About Dr Martens plc
Our now-iconic air-cushioned sole was designed by a German inventor, Dr. Klaus Maertens. But while our sole may be German, our soul is undeniably British.
British shoe-makers, R Griggs and Co, bought the rights to that air-cushioned sole. Added in the iconic yellow stitch and grooves. Fastened the scripted heel-loop. And set about flogging these 8-eye boots to workmen.
But fate intervened. Dr. Martens may have been made for industry but, as it turns out, they were destined for the stage. Subverted early on by subcultures, they paved the way for a new kind of rebellious self-expression.
From the punks of 70s London to the grungers of 90s Seattle, Dr. Martens have always stood with those who dare to be different. Subcultures may fade out and evolve but our alternative spirit is a constant.
And as for what the future holds?
We have offices in London, Northampton, Portland, across EMEA and Asia, with an ever-expanding global retail portfolio. We have the respect of big-name fashion giants – think Supreme and Yohji Yamamoto – enabling us to engage in exciting partnerships season after season.
