About the role

The United Church of Canada Archives in Toronto, Ontario is pleased to offer a 16-week position with the support of Young Canada Works. The successful candidate will be responsible for the appraisal, arrangement and description of Ontario communities of faith (congregations, pastoral charges and specialized ministries), including textual, graphic, audiovisual and architectural records. The successful candidate should have an understanding of Rules for Archival Description. Experience with Access to Memory application is preferred.

The successful candidate must be eligible to participate in the Young Canada Works program, and must have completed one year of a recognized graduate program in Archival, Library or Information Studies, or an equivalent diploma program.

The salary for this position is $25.33/hour for 35 hours per week. The position will start on or after May 1, 2026. Women, persons, with disabilities, visible minorities and Indigenous peoples are encouraged to apply for this position.
