Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your reliability engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside proactive and analytical teammates.
You'll drive fault analysis and reliability improvement initiatives for the Ottawa LRT fleet, ensuring optimal train performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (operations, engineering, and OEMs), develop technical procedures and training programs, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:
- Leading root cause analysis of recurring or high-impact train faults.,
- Developing and maintaining fault classification systems and reliability dashboards.,
- Collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams to identify systemic issues and implement corrective actions.,
- Monitoring fleet performance metrics and reliability KPIs.,
- Drafting and updating technical procedures for fault diagnosis and resolution.,
- Standardizing fault reporting and escalation protocols.,
- Ensuring documentation aligns with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.,
- Designing and delivering training programs focused on logical fault-finding and structured analysis.,
- Coaching technicians on using diagnostic tools and interpreting fault codes.,
- Promoting a culture of ownership, resilience, and continuous learning within the maintenance team."
