Marketing Coordinator
Summer 2026 co-op/internship with options to extend into the following fall (2026) and spring (2027) semesters

Ecopia AI (Ecopia) is an industry-leading artificial intelligence (AI) company specializing in extracting land-cover and land-use insights from geospatial big data. Millions of images of the Earth are captured every day by satellites, airplanes, vehicles, and personal devices, but turning that imagery into actionable insights has traditionally been a resource-intensive and time-consuming endeavour. Ecopia converts geospatial imagery into high-precision mapping data at global scales, leveraging AI to empower a wide range of applications such as stormwater management, natural resource management, environmental hazard mitigation, sustainable land use planning, and climate resilience. This data is used by governments, civil engineering firms, insurance carriers, and technology companies around the world.

Ecopia is seeking an energetic, motivated, and passionate Marketing Coordinator Co-op/Intern interested in the intersection of environmental science and business to support our dynamic Marketing team. As a co-op/intern at Ecopia, you’ll have the opportunity to grow professionally and simultaneously develop technical/scientific and business skills. With Ecopia’s flexible hybrid remote work environment, you can work from home and/or from our office in the beautiful MaRS Discovery District building at 101 College Street in Toronto. Join us on the journey to map the world!

You’ll make an impact by:

• Building brand awareness and driving the acquisition/onboarding of customers to our online mapping data portal.
• Coordinating trade show and conference participation.
• Participating in technical geospatial thought leadership content creation.
• Supporting the sales and marketing teams with insights from Salesforce reports.
• Assisting the marketing team with general administrative requests and day-to-day tactical activities.

What we’re looking for:

• A motivated university/college or a post-secondary student enrolled in business/marketing or affiliated areas, with a strong desire to learn
• Coursework or work experience in geographic information systems (GIS), environmental science, urban planning, or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as copywriting and proofreading skills, with exceptional attention to detail
• An independent self-starter and entrepreneurial thinker who is adaptable to change in a constantly evolving tech startup environment
• Experience with Salesforce reporting and marketing-led sales enablement

Bonus:

• Experience in a SaaS or DaaS environment
