About the role
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for adhering to a productions schedule, reading and comprehending electrical schematics, measuring, cutting and wiring of custom electrical panels. Strong attention to detail is required to maintain customer satisfaction.
Skills and knowledge
- High school diploma
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics
- Experienced with hand tools and power tools
- Physically able to lift 50lbs
- Work independently and with the team
- Basic knowledge of computers
Responsibilities
- Reading electrical schematics
- Perform quality checks
- Assemble and wire electrical panels using the appropriate hand tools and power tools
- Follow company standards and procedures
- Ensure consumable stock levels are kept up
- Assemble custom cables from 5 volts up to 25kv
- On-site service as required
- Maintain a high level of safety
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Operating the forklift as required
- Put material away as it arrives
- Assist with the production of lamacoid labels
- Pull parts for upcoming jobs
Rate of Pay
$25-27/Hr
