What we are recruiting for:
We are currently looking for a Planning Manager with digital and data transformation experience for a fixed term contract 6 - 12 Months.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using recognised planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Create and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and ensure alignment with project scope and objectives.
- Monitor progress against baseline plans, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support risk and change management processes by assessing impacts on schedules and resources.
- Prepare regular progress reports and dashboards for stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and risks.
- Facilitate planning workshops and ensure stakeholder engagement in schedule development.
- Integrate multiple workstreams and dependencies within programme-level plans.
- Ensure compliance with organisational governance frameworks and planning standards.
Experience & background:
- Proven experience in project planning within complex, multi-disciplinary environments.
- Proficiency in planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Understanding of project lifecycle methodologies
- Relevant qualification in project management or planning (e.g., APM, PMI, or equivalent).
- Experience in infrastructure, engineering, or construction projects is desirable.
