About the role
As a Business Analyst within our Environmental Health & Safety Team, you will provide support on the day-to-day knowledge, reporting, analysis and data collection for the Environment Health and Safety (EHS) Business Line and Sales and Marketing Groups in safety effectiveness, investigations, regulatory compliance, processes and procedures. You will operate in a key role by providing support on data analysis and reporting as needed to various stakeholders Business Units. Your success will be based on your ability to maintain existing reports, build new ones with various Microsoft platforms (Excel, Power BI), troubleshooting reports, and provide stakeholders with accurate information to make business decisions.
Kindly note this is a fixed term position for 18 months.

Your Responsibilities
- Ensure all stakeholders have proper, valid, reliable and accurate information to make business decisions and assist them with analysis/recommendations
- Ensure appropriate reporting timelines are achieved on safety related initiatives and incidents through contributing to projects and project work related to the EHS departments by gathering data, preparing reports to ensure we meet or exceed our targets
- Provide support and analysis for Business Lines with application support, and reporting improvements.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot dashboards/reports
- Conduct ad hoc reporting and analysis for various team members
- Monitor system changes, trouble shooting, open tickets, log prioritize and follow up on open issues for requests. Modify, redirect and correct web forms
- Participate in UAT. Assist in evaluation of Packaged Solutions against business requirements
- Participate in development, testing, regression testing, and implementation of customized software solutions/enhancements/new modules
- Provide training and user support
- Develop and maintain training materials and Help files for the system
- Respond to user inquiries and requests for assistance
Your Skills
- Technical aptitude, with a focus on the MS Office Suite/Power Plat Form and Power of BI
- Analytical and able to problem solve – project management, process improvement - six sigma/lean thinking is consider an asset
- Database management, project planning, training ability
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate differing personalities
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi- task in a fast-paced environment
Your Experience
- Post-secondary education, or equivalent experience
- Professional Safety designation is an asset
