Overview
We’re seeking a Business Development Executive who thrives on hunting new business and building long-term client partnerships. This role is for a driven, confident professional who can open doors, build trust, and translate client needs into successful signage solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Drive New Business: Build and manage a strong pipeline by identifying and engaging mid-market and enterprise clients across Canada.

Client Engagement: Conduct discovery meetings and site visits to understand project goals and create tailored proposals that deliver value and impact.

Relationship Building: Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and corporate stakeholders for repeat and referral business.

Strategic Collaboration: Partner with internal design, production, and installation teams to ensure client satisfaction and seamless project execution.

Market Presence: Represent JD Sign Group at networking events, site meetings, and industry functions — always championing our brand with confidence and professionalism.

Performance Accountability: Use CRM tools to manage pipeline activity, track metrics, and report progress toward sales targets.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience: 3+ years in B2B sales, ideally in signage, print, construction, or visual communications.

Network: Active and relevant network across Canada in target industries.

Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

Mindset: Autonomous, entrepreneurial, and outcome-driven.

Knowledge: Familiarity with signage materials, installation, and design software (Adobe Illustrator, CAD) is a plus.

Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., Zoho) and reporting on performance metrics.
