Join one of Canada's largest Spatial Information Management and Digital Design
teams as an Intermediate GIS Analyst. In this role, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Canada and around the globe, helping deliver innovative geospatial solutions that support environmental, engineering, and infrastructure projects. Your expertise will help bring data to life, inform critical decisions, and contribute to meaningful outcomes for clients, communities, and the environment.
This is your opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no
two days are the same. You'll have the flexibility to support a broad range of projects, from local initiatives to some of the largest and most complex infrastructure, environmental, and resource development projects in Canada.
Working alongside industry-leading specialists, you'll leverage cutting-edge GIS
technologies to solve real-world challenges, gain exposure to diverse sectors, and play a key role in delivering high-profile projects that create lasting impacts on communities and the environment.
This role can be based in one of WSP's major offices in Saint John New Brunswick
or Dartmouth Nove Scotia.
Your Impact
You will leverage your GIS expertise to deliver innovative geospatial solutions
that support complex projects across multiple industries:
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and environmental consultants to develop GIS solutions that support project delivery.
- Create, manage, and maintain geospatial datasets from digital and analogue sources using industry-leading GIS platforms.
- Produce high-quality maps, figures, visualizations, and presentation materials that communicate complex information effectively.
- Develop and maintain web-based GIS applications and interactive mapping solutions using ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Support enterprise geospatial database creation, management, and optimization.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control practices that align with global standards and best practices.
- Contribute to GIS workflow improvements, automation initiatives, and innovative spatial solutions.
- Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and continuously advance your technical expertise while supporting team success.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Advanced Diploma in GIS or an equivalent combination of GIS experience and post-secondary education.
- 3 to 5 years of experience working with Geographic Information Systems, particularly ESRI technologies including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, Portal, and Web Applications.
- Strong understanding of GIS and CAD data formats, data conversion processes, and geospatial data management.
- Demonstrated cartographic expertise with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and graphical communication skills.
- Experience with enterprise GIS solutions, geospatial databases, QA/QC programs, mobile data collection, spatial analysis, and workflow automation is considered an asset.
- Bilingualism in English and French is required.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $41.40 - $54.90
MB & ON: $37.80 - $52.10 NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $37.40 - $49.70

Your Impact
