About the Role:
Corus Marketing has an exciting opportunity for a Brand Manager on the Lifestyle Brand Portfolio at our Toronto location. Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving marketing strategies, managing on- and off-air advertising for consumer campaigns, liaising with our domestic and international production partners, managing partnerships and event activations, and leading cross-functional planning efforts for Canada’s top Lifestyle broadcast networks.
You will contribute by:

Working alongside the Sr. Marketing Manager to set strategic priorities for Corus’ Lifestyle brands and key priorities.

Leading cross-functional teams to achieve channel viewership and revenue targets.
-
Planning and developing targeted consumer advertising including OOH, digital, radio, and a variety of contra and cross-promotional initiatives.

Working with in-house Creative, Media, PR, Social, Digital, On-Air Promotion, Sales, and Programming teams to brief, plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns.

Managing stakeholders throughout campaign development and execution.
-
Ideating, sourcing, and managing the execution of strategic branded partnerships and engaging fan-oriented event activations.

Acting as a brand steward to ensure all touchpoints (incl. on-air, online/social, sales, multiplatform, and programming) are on-brand, on-strategy, and aligned with network positioning.

Tracking campaign performance, monitoring insights, and helping drive post-campaign reporting to inform future planning.

Supporting the Sales teams in generating revenue by acting as the Marketing lead on co-branded partnerships and campaigns.
Skills and experience you will bring:

Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing or Communications is preferred.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in a consumer-oriented marketing or ad agency leadership role with progressive experience in brand management.

Media planning, agency relationship management, and understanding of the creative briefing process are musts.
-
Advanced Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with SharePoint is an asset.

Knowledgeable and passionate about entertainment, pop culture, and social/digital media
-
Must be an agile and creative thinker with strategic orientation and resourcefulness.

Must be a self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to lead cross-departmental shared business results, with track record of adding value.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels; excellent written and verbal communications skills.

A positive and enthusiastic approach to collaboration and teamwork.
