Your Role in Supporting Our Members:
As theProject Lead, CEO Events & Initiatives, you will play a pivotal role in driving execution across the Office of the CEO by turning executive priorities into coordinated action. You’ll support large‑scale enterprise initiatives, external stakeholder engagement, and high‑visibility internal leadership events - ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with strategic objectives. This role is ideal for a highly organized and proactive project leader who thrives in fast‑paced environments, has exceptional coordination skills, and excels at managing complex, cross-functional tasks with precision and professionalism.
This is aFull-time, Temporaryrole based at ourVancity head officeand will report directly to theAdvisor to the CEO. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demands.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Translating executive direction into actionable project plans and coordinating delivery across teams
- Coordinating stakeholder engagement and supporting execution of national and local partnership plans
- Leading project management for the enterprise staff event, including timelines, budgets, risks, and workback schedules
- Facilitating cross-functional delivery involving Comms, Brand, Strategy, Operations, and other partners
- Supporting planning, logistics, agendas, and follow‑through for senior leadership summits and internal leadership events
- Managing logistics, tracking progress, and ensuring initiatives advance with clarity and alignment
- Identifying risks, dependencies, and roadblocks early and coordinating mitigation plans
- Enabling the Advisor to the CEO by anticipating needs and ensuring operational execution supports strategic focus
- Ensuring all initiatives meet expectations around quality, timeliness, and enterprise impact
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Post-secondary degree in business administration, communications, project management, or a related field
- 4-6 years of experience in project coordination, project management, event management, or executive operations
- Experience supporting senior leadership or executive offices in fast‑paced, complex environments
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and follow‑through
- Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams and navigating complex stakeholder environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear plans, timelines, and summaries
- Proficiency with project management tools and structured planning methodologies
- PMP, CAPM, or comparable project management certification considered an asset

What You’ll Earn:
This role offers a salary range of**$86,400 to $101,600 per annum**. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
