We are looking for Registered Veterinary Technicians to join our first clinic and help us build a world class offering. This role is located in Vancouver and is shared between two of our locations - Juno Veterinary Main St. Clinic and Juno Veterinary Kitsilano Clinic. This role reports directly to the Practice Manager and Lead Registered Veterinary Technician.

In this role, you will:

  • Utilize your veterinary technician license to the highest level

  • Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Assessing patients

  • Recording vitals and assisting doctors with diagnostics

  • Monitoring patients and providing compassionate care

  • Taking blood, placing catheters, assisting with radiography capture

  • Preparing samples and running in-house labs

  • Preparing and administering medications

  • Collaborating closely with DVMs and coworkers

  • Communicating with clients to educate them about their pets health

  • Grow and thrive in a positive, inclusive environment of continuous learning and excellence in care

  • Implement the companies culture vision by encouraging flexible scheduling, self-compassion, work-life balance and blame and judgment free environment

Requirements:

  • A RVT degree with a license to practice in British Columbia
  • 2+ years of experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician/Technologist
  • Enthusiasm for thinking outside of the box, tackling complex problems, and identifying new ways of doing things
  • A passion for Juno Vet's mission to provide a superior veterinary experience for patients, clients and employees
