Job description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely handling of incoming and outgoing goods, supporting both the warehouse and shop teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to operate a skid steer.
Responsibilities
Operate skid steer to load, unload, transport and store goods.
Use time effectively to ensure everything is received accurately and processed promptly.
Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
Enter received goods into ERP system.
Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas. Effectively maintain bin storage system and parts room.
Preparing parts orders for shop technicians.
Apply return standards to vendor returns to properly classify them according to core vendor programs.
Maintain receiving, warehouse and parts room ensuring clean, neat and optimized.
Maintain and inventory shop consumables.
Update and maintain information in the ERP system.
Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
High school education or GED equivalent
Min 1-year experience Material Handling / Shipping Receiving
Basic Computer Skills – Microsoft Office, Outlook
Ability to be a team player and step in to support your department.
Superior organization skills to keep stock locations organized.
Excellent communication skills
Able to lift up to 50Lbs
ERP Systems an asset (Fleetio)
Skid steer experience an asset
