Title: Warranty Technical Lead
Location: 37 Quarry Park Blvd SE, Calgary and surrounding areas

Job Overview Reporting to the Warranty Supervisor, as the Warranty Technical Lead you are responsible to conduct pre-occupancy orientation meetings on site and with customers. You are also responsible for the review of files, completion of warranty items while working with Warranty Technicians, Representatives and Trade Partners and ensure the delivery and timely execution and excellent customer service to exceed customer expectations.
Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include
- Coordinating preoccupancy orientation meetings with Warranty Team to arrange or schedule customer appointments and provide details on resolution of deficiencies resolving homeowner concerns.
- Completing quality control inspections and repairs for deficiencies or coordinating with trades to complete repairs, ensuring compliance with quality standard.
- Accompanying trades on service calls when required and documenting/notifying Warranty department of any back charges for trades.
- Negotiating mutually agreeable solutions for homeowners and trades to resolve concerns and/or disputes.
- Meeting with the Warranty Representatives and the Warranty/Service Technicians to review and advise on complex issues.
- Overseeing file progress of Warranty Representatives and Warranty/Service Technicians on a weekly basis.

Essential Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction industry and with basic knowledge of construction practices.
- Comfortable using carpentry related tools and equipment.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
- Comfortable using tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination and situational awareness of physical work environment.
- Physically able to kneel and crouch as well as lift, carry, push or pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions You primarily work in customer homes during regular business hours. Work has exposure to noise from equipment/machinery as well as dealing with inclement weather and dust. Overtime may occasionally be required.
