Position Summary: As the IT Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing the resort's information technology systems. Your role will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless operations, exceptional guest experiences, and efficient communication across all departments.

Wage range for this position is $26.44 - $28.85 per hour.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage the resort's network infrastructure, servers, workstations, and other IT equipment to ensure optimal performance and availability.

• Provide technical support to staff members, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as updates, patches, and backups, to safeguard data integrity and system security.

• Maintain and troubleshoot network connectivity, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and internet access, to ensure reliable and fast connections throughout the resort.

• Assist with configuring and maintaining network equipment, such as routers, switches, and firewalls to support various services and applications.

• Install, update, and maintain software applications used across different departments, ensuring compatibility, security, and proper functionality.

• Provide training to staff members on the effective use of software tools and applications to improve efficiency and productivity.

• Implement and enforce security measures, including antivirus software, firewalls, and access controls, to protect the resort’s digital assets and sensitive information.

• Educate staff members on cybersecurity best practices and conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.

• Liaise with various departments to understand their IT needs and requirements, providing technical solutions and recommendations as necessary.

• Foster effective communication channels to address IT-related concerns, updates, and changes among different teams.

• Work in collaboration with the resort’s contracted IT service providers.

• Co-operate and accept other assignments as and when required.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Proven experience in IT support, system administration, and network management.

• Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common software applications.

• Strong knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Familiarity with hardware components, peripherals, and mobile devices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with staff and guests effectively.
