Role Overview

Experienced

Machine Learning professionals

are invited to contribute to a research collaboration with a leading AI lab. The work focuses on evaluating, refining, and developing advanced AI systems that replicate real-world engineering and data science workflows. This role combines practical implementation with critical evaluation, offering the chance to shape systems used in next-generation AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI system outputs for

accuracy, quality, and relevance

to real-world objectives.

• Calibrate AI decision-making in

model training, performance optimization, and pipeline evaluation

.

• Design, implement, and refine

machine learning models and data processing pipelines

.

• Collaborate with research and engineering teams on

model architectures, training strategies, and deployment methods

.

Ideal Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning, preferably deep learning, data science, or large-scale AI systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in

Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field

; advanced degrees (MSc, PhD) are a plus.

• Proficiency with ML frameworks such as

TensorFlow

or

PyTorch

.

• Strong understanding of

large-scale data pipelines, model training, and system optimization

.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex workflows into

clear, actionable insights

.

Project Timeline

• Start Date: Immediate
• Duration: 1–2 months (with extension potential).
• Commitment: ~20 hours/week (up to 40 hours/week if extended).
• Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous, flexible working hours.

Compensation & Contract

• Rate: $75–$125 per hour, based on experience.
• Performance Incentives: Weekly bonus incentives of

$20–$100/hr

for top performers.

• Contract Type: Independent contractor.
• Payment: Daily via Stripe Connect.
