The Role
Cameco is looking for an organized administrative professional to support the marketing department. Supporting the vice-president, marketing, and the department’s directors, you will play an important role in the efficient and effective operation of this dynamic group. Your experience, strong organizational skills, technical aptitude and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will help you be successful in this role.
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for providing confidential administrative support which includes calendar management, meeting arrangements, managing email and department deadlines.
- Arranging VP travel arrangements/itineraries, dinner and luncheon reservations.
- Provide administrative support for joint ventures with other departments such as executive, legal, finance and tax.
- Be responsible for administration of expense reports, cost reports, forecast reports and assist with department budget submission and reporting.
- Coordination of quarterly marketing strategy planning sessions which include meeting invites, catering and department events.
- Conference registration, logistics, meeting invites and itineraries.
- Supervising and delegating administrative duties and responsibilities for the department.
- Work with a number of systems including Microsoft products, SAP/S4 and the document management system (SharePoint).
Required:
-
business administrative certificate;
-
a minimum of eight years of progressive experience in a corporate environment;
-
equivalent combination of education and work experience considered;
-
proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, OneDrive, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams) and Nitro Pro;
-
strong inclination for technology and ability to learn systems quickly; and
-
excellent written and verbal communication skills, and adhering to corporate standards.
Recommended:

experience tracking and recording budgets.
