The Enterprise IT Manager is a strategic technology leader responsible for overseeing non clinical applications, with a strong emphasis on system integration, interfaces, and data exchange across hospital systems. This role requires a proven track record of leading cross functional teams, optimizing digital workflows, implementing large scale enterprise systems, and improving service delivery across clinical support departments.
The Enterprise IT Manager ensures reliable, secure, and efficient interoperability among clinical, financial, operational, human resources, and third party systems. The role is accountable for ensuring enterprise solutions are compliant with healthcare regulations, aligned with organizational and strategic goals, and effectively support administrative, financial, and operational functions across the organization.
This position provides leadership to the Digital Enterprise team, including mentoring, coaching, and performance support. The successful candidate will work closely with clinical, corporate, and digital stakeholders to support enterprise systems, introduce process and workflow improvements, and manage complex initiatives. Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, service management, vendor governance, and regulatory compliance are essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3 years of progressive experience in enterprise digital environments, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
- Demonstrated strong experience supporting large‑scale enterprise systems and integrations.
- Demonstrated experience with vendor management and contract oversight.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Lead and support digital enterprise staff, including resource planning, workload prioritization, performance management, and professional development.
- Foster strong collaboration across Digital, Infrastructure, Clinical, and Corporate IT teams.
- Provide escalation management and decision‑making support for complex or high‑risk issues.
- Oversee enterprise applications and platforms (e.g., integrations, reporting, and non‑clinical systems).
- Ensure system availability, performance, security, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Manage incident response, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure appropriate testing strategies (e.g., integrated testing, UAT) and change management practices are followed.
- Support IT governance, standards, and best practices across enterprise systems.
- Contribute to the digital health roadmap, planning and operational strategy.
- Ensure documentation, policies, and procedures are maintained and up to date.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, contract reviews, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards.
- Demonstrated a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital-related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required
