Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all activities for the assigned accounts.
  • Assist and conduct daily shift meetings.
  • Team leads are the subject matter experts in their functional areas.
  • Acting as the Super Users (WMS):
  • Training, Re-training Associates on WMS transactions and helping troubleshoot WMS issues
  • Communicating information and answering associates’ questions related to High Jump RF Scan Devices
  • Provide front line support of Warehouse system
  • Serve as a Liaison between IT Team and Operations
  • On the floor: supervision of warehouse associates, making sure that the Standard Operating Procedures/Work Instructions are being fallowed and the Key Performance Indicators are achieved
  • Ensure staff lunch and breaks schedules are followed.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding employee performance.
  • Ensures adherence to established safety practices.
  • Proactively bring to the attention of management any operational issues as they develop and assist in finding resolution.
  • Assists in the labour planning for their department (meeting the productivity standards)
  • Ensure work functions are handed out to all staff timely so there is no downtime (meeting the productivity standards)
  • Responsible for the allocation and proper use of equipment such as RF guns.
  • Proactively informs management to orders supplies as required
  • Liaise with internal departments such as Customer Service, Transportation, Shipping and Receiving and Inventory to investigate and resolve operational and client issues
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current on ongoing customer requirements, or new client set up in order to meet customer expectations and Service Level Agreements
  • Enforce workplace rules.
  • Performs administrative tasks as they relate to the operation.
  • Participates in different projects as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse/distribution environment is preferred
  • Minimum Completion - High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good command of Math
  • Computer literate
  • Demonstrated strong leadership with excellent interpersonal skills must be a resourceful self-starter
  • Team player skills with demonstrated abilities to interact well with all levels of associates
  • Proven ability to encourage and motivate others in a positive manner
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Works well under pressure
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm to tasks at hand, and high energy level
