POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an HR Administrator to join our Human Resources team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the full employee lifecycle, including but not limited to onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, offboarding, etc. The ideal candidate will bring strong administrative experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information in a fast-paced environment.
WORK SCHEDULE
Day Shift, Monday to Friday
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain, update, and audit employee records within the HRIS system to ensure accuracy and compliance

Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, internal changes, and offboarding processes

Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including documentation, orientation, system setup, access changes, and exit processing

Administer employee benefits programs, including enrolment, changes, terminations, and ongoing employee support

Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, HR policies, and general HR processes
-
Prepare and issue HR documentation such as employment letters, contracts, and status change notices
-
Track and maintain employee attendance records, vacation balances, and various types of leave
-
Support payroll and benefits processing through accurate data entry, verification of employee changes, and coordination with payroll as required

Assist with HR reporting, audits, and compliance requirements, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate

Support HR initiatives, projects, and continuous improvement activities as assigned

Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of all employee and HR data

Perform other related duties as assigned to support HR operations and organizational needs
QUALIFICATIONS

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
-
1–3 years of experience in an HR administrative or HR support role
-
Experience with benefits administration considered an asset

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Experience with HRIS systems (BambooHR or similar preferred)

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
-
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license to travel between our two Calgary sites (3 – 5 km apart, mileage reimbursed)

ICE Western’s purpose was to take on the production of highly complex HVAC units not suited for the main plant. Now ICE Western’s state of the art industrial manufacturing facility is located on 5 acres in South Foothills Industrial Park Calgary Alberta.
