##Summary
In this role, you’ll be part of a dedicated travelling construction crew, working on projects across Ontario and occasionally across Canada. You can expect to be on the road for several weeks at a time**.**
We’re open to candidates from outside the GTA—what matters most is your willingness and ability to travel with the crew.
A Small Grinder Operator uses grinding machines to shape, sharpen, or smooth materials like metal, stone, or precision parts. They are responsible for setting up the equipment, operating it according to specifications, and ensuring the finished product meets quality standards.
##Responsibilities
- Operate small grinder in a safe and efficient manner and ability to perform physical labour
- Perform daily maintenance
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment; complete maintenance records and daily equipment log
- Other duties as assigned
##Requirements
- AZ driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel for work is required
- Working near/on construction sites
- Daily exposure to construction environment
- Mechanically inclined will be considered an asset
- Previous construction and operating experience will be considered an asset
##Compensation Data
$28.00 - $30.00 per hour
