About the role
Job Title: Blaster/ Paint Line Operator This Role is for a 3 Month Contract Job Summary The Blaster/ Paint Line Operator role is responsible for blasting parts for the painting of various parts for agricultural machinery.
Responsibility
- Perform blasting and of parts according to Salford’s quality and production standards.
- Load and setup the paint line and other related equipment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of environmental conditions.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Clean and maintain painting, ventilation, and blasting equipment, as well as personal protective gear.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and housekeeping standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Academic/Educational Requirements
- Some Highschool
Required Skills/Experience
- Previous blasting experience is an asset.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools; able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance or lifting devices.
- Organized, proactive, and self-motivated, with strong time management and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and a positive attitude.
- Committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.
