About the role
Ability to create full technical packages with black and white flat sketches and zooms for garments and packaging, add additional details such as pictures or close up sketches Drive fit excellence by issuing precise specs, size specification grading, detailed garment construction and sewing techniques Extensive experience in sample fitting and a good understanding of our standardized fit for the brand Measure & inspect development samples and review all details based on submitted tech pack Communicate with our off shore suppliers if they have not submitted samples compliant to standards or as per technical package requirements Answer all factory emails regarding technical questions related to the tech pack Manage timelines to meet due dates & deadlines Daily communication with overseas suppliers in a timely manor Send all technical packages to our overseas suppliers and ensure that all details are clear and precise and well identified Ensure that the tech pack is updated through all stages of style development. Ensure products are engineered to our customers standards. Ensure brand integrity, size and fit are consistent within the product category. Work closely with our off shore suppliers to ensure that there is a clear understanding of the construction of each specific garment. Ensure accuracy of all the technical packages prior to release of the style to production. Create and manage 1st fit samples if time permits Partner with Design to fully understand style construction details, styling intent, fit and proportions at the initial stages Provide feedback to Design on construction challenges, recommend alternatives or improvements, ensure the pattern, BOM and Sketches are updated accordingly. Collect information on packaging and provide folding information to complete the tech pack Keep an accurate data library of the life cycle of a product.
