Job Description We are looking for a talented individual… To join CLEAResult as a Program Manager for Independent Electricity System Operator’s (IESO) Save on Energy Remote First Nations Energy-Efficiency Program (RFNEEP). This program provides funding support to remote First Nations communities in Northwestern Ontario, helping them implement energy efficiency projects that reduce energy costs and improve comfort in homes and businesses.
As Program Manager, you will work closely with utility clients, partners, and community leaders to ensure the program’s success. In this role, you will manage client relationships, lead a team of program analysts and community coordinators, and set and track strategies to achieve program objectives and savings targets. You will also play a key role in designing and rolling out new program features and enhancements to better support participating communities.

- Manage multiple contracts and budgets with annual revenues of $2M–$5M, ensuring compliance and client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies and tailored solutions to address unique challenges in remote and northern communities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, community members, and the general public through effective communication and outreach.
- Oversee the adoption of best-in-class energy efficiency measures and emerging technologies in residential and small commercial settings.
- Provide leadership to a small team of program analysts and field technicians, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams of 5–10
- Translate technical information into clear, accessible language for diverse audiences.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and high standards across all work, with strong attention to detail.
- Lead initiatives such as webinars, print materials, and participation in industry events.
- Travel to Toronto at least once per quarter, with occasional trips to remote communities as needed.
In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…
- 5–8 years of relevant experience, including work with utility clients, contractors in the energy efficiency sector, and First Nations communities.
- 2+ years of experience collaborating with Indigenous partners in remote or underserved areas, with strong knowledge of Indigenous rights and a commitment to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action.
- 2+ years of people management experience, including leading cross-functional teams or initiatives in complex environments.
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in the utilities or energy efficiency industry is an asset, particularly in program design, program delivery, or energy management.
- Knowledge of building science, HVAC systems, and energy modeling tools.
- Ability to be assertive while maintaining tact and professionalism.
Targeted Salary $105,000-$115,000
Compensation Range $85,700.00 - $142,800.00
Currency CAD
