Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Body Shop Assistant Manager to join our team at Dilawri Collison Centre Regina. This position plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy collision repair facility, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient workflow management, and strong collaboration between technicians, estimators, parts personnel, and customers. Automotive body shop experience and body shop parts knowledge would be an asset to this role.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing daily body shop operations and workflow. Support the Body Shop Manager in achieving productivity, quality, and profitability goals. Work closely with technicians, estimators, parts departments, and vendors. Monitor repair timelines and ensure vehicles are delivered on schedule. Over see parts-related processes including ordering, tracking, receiving, and accuracy Assist customers throughout the repair process and provide regular status updates. Help manage scheduling, work distribution, and shop capacity. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and company quality standards. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Support employee development, coaching, and performance management initiatives.

Qualifications Required

Minimum 3 years of automotive body shop experience. Experience in a dealership body shop parts role is considered a strong asset.Strong knowledge of collision repair processes and procedures. Extensive knowledge of body shop parts, ordering procedures, and parts identification. Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience is considered a strong asset. Proven ability to work effectively with technicians, customers and vendors Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
