As an Estimator working in the Building Operations team at Pomerleau Construction, you will support new and ongoing project growth and challenge industry standards with your trade-driven expertise and knowledge. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will work closely with our proposals team and various client groups to secure bids and ensure project success.
What you will do :

Contribute to the bid process cycle.

Identify project-specific prices for labor, equipment, and materials.

Accurately interpret technical specifications with a keen eye for detail.

Perform thorough quantity take-offs to ensure precise contract specifications and pricing.

Maintain a focus on client pricing requirements for project feasibility.

Cultivate relationships with trade partners, consultants, and clients to achieve project goals.

Explore innovative solutions and opportunities within the parameters of the project.
This role could be for you if you have :
- A University Degree, College Diploma or certificate in Engineering or Construction Management. Or a combination of education and industry experience.
- A proven track record of project coordination and team collaboration.
- Experience building relationships with industry and project stakeholders.
- A comprehensive understanding of the bid process cycle.
- Critical research skills used for identifying and analyzing project-specific expenses.
- Expertise in quantity take-offs to guarantee accuracy in contract specifications and pricing.
- Strong computer skills, specifically with estimation software.
