💼 Compensation & Flexibility This is a remote, flexible role — it is perfect for a student completing their master’s or PhD, someone who is looking for additional income beyond their full-time job or someone who wants flexibility in their work life. You're paid per session, with performance-based bonuses tied to student results. Effective hourly rate between $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience. The hours are 2pm PST to 7pm PST on weekdays and at least one weekend day available We expect a minimum one-year commitment to your students — they’re trusting you to see them through. In return, we’re flexible with your schedule and availability, as long as you’re consistent and committed. Must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Canada.
🎯 The Role You’ll work directly with students via Zoom or phone to: Guide them through deadlines, application decisions, and program options Break down complex requirements and simplify decision-making Help them set goals, plan backwards, and stay accountable Build their confidence and help them develop long-term success skills You’ll also: Use our tech platform and internal tools to track progress Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a top-tier student experience Continuously level up your knowledge of programs, scholarships, and admissions strategies

✅ We're Looking For Someone Who: Has a bachelor’s degree from a Canadian University and/or is currently pursuing a Master’s/PhD Loves working directly with students and helping them achieve big results Understands the value of higher education and personal growth Has direct experience with the admissions process (as an admissions officer, advisor, graduate student, etc.) Has a proven record of achievement — whether in academics, work, or leadership Thrives in a structured, fast-moving schedule with high expectations Enjoys solving problems, guiding people, and seeing clear outcomes from your work
💻 Technical Requirements To ensure a seamless experience for both you and your students, all advisors must have access to a reliable, professional-grade remote work setup. This includes: A laptop or desktop computer capable of running video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom) without lag High-speed, stable internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download recommended) A working webcam and high-quality microphone for clear communication A quiet, private workspace suitable for professional student sessions Ability to reliably access and use browser-based tools and platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, CRM systems) Backup plan for connectivity or hardware issues (e.g., mobile hotspot, alternate device) This role is highly interactive and student-facing — your setup must support consistent, high-quality sessions without interruption.
