Pay Details:

  • $55k - $65K per annum (depending on experience)

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers about repairs, status and approvals
  • Schedule units for service
  • In liaison with the Shop Manager, offering suggestions to customers on how best they can repair their vehicles
  • Communicate with the Shop manager, parts person, lead hand and mechanics to ensure prompt completion of jobs
  • Customer service representative for all customers, including initial writing of customer complaints, intial estimates, and staying in contact with the customers through the job process
  • Communicating job requirements to the Shop manager or lead hand and working with the shop for scheduling
  • Verifying that all labour and parts are accounted for on RO's and invoices, both commercial and internal
  • Communicate emergency triage requests to the lead hand
  • Close work orders and invoice customers when a job is complete
  • Utilize shop planner
  • Scan shop documents to repair orders
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven track record of group leadership and commitment to quality and safety
  • Knowledge of operating standards, policies and procedures would be helpful
  • Possess a thorough knowlege of heavy-duty truck parts and vehicle systems preferred
  • Computer literate (Windows/MS office) (TMT preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and problem resolution skills
