At ATB, we exist to make it possible for our clients, team members and communities. Our purpose is more than aspirational. It's a real commitment we live every day through our values (what we call the ATB ID).

Life at ATB is about more than work. In fact, we’re consistently recognized as one of Canada's top employers thanks to our high-care, high-performance culture, upheld by the three commitments we make to our team members:

Impact in action: No matter where you are in the organization, you're empowered to make an impact in the lives of our clients and communities.

Thrive together: We want you—the unique, authentic you—to feel safe and celebrated at work. We're on a continuous journey to build the most flexible and inclusive programs.

Ready for tomorrow: We want to enable your success through interesting and challenging work, performance enablement, and learning and development.

About the Role

Be a catalyst for product excellence!

The EFS Product Enablement Advisor acts as a strategic "bridge" ensuring our products work seamlessly for clients while driving sustainable business growth for Everyday Financial Services (EFS). You are a subject matter expert who defines how products function, identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, and validates that solutions are configured to generate revenue throughout the entire product lifecycle.

In this role, you will lead and support diverse initiatives in partnership with Client Experience and Technology (CXT), accelerating delivery through a deep understanding of EFS processes, systems, and business rules. You are responsible for ensuring that every core banking product, from mortgages and loans to everyday accounts, is understood, leveraged for success, and delivers an exceptional experience to both team members and clients.

Accountabilities

Product Enablement & Lifecycle Optimization

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the central point of contact and subject matter expert (SME) for how EFS products function, translating product vision and complex business rules into actionable requirements.
  • Lifecycle Mapping: Perform current-state analysis to identify pain points, gaps, and growth opportunities to improve the overall product experience.
  • Value Realization: Validate that product solutions meet client needs and directly contribute to EFS revenue and strategic goals.

Strategic Project Management

  • End-to-End Delivery: Lead and participate initiatives from discovery through execution and sustainment, ensuring momentum is maintained through data-driven decision-making.
  • Requirements Excellence: Create high-quality product vision documents, business requirements, business cases, and decision records that guide project outcomes.
  • Reporting & Accountability: Proactively report on project status and results, ensuring work interdependencies are understood and results are achieved on firm timelines.

Change Management & Partnership

  • Bridge Building: Collaborate with ATB partners to influence change, gain support for initiatives, and communicate technical information as meaningful content for business audiences.
  • Team Member Readiness: Prepare and/or collaborate on team member readiness supports, such as product guides and FAQs, and consult with learning teams to ensure seamless EFS delivery and proficiency.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Cultivate strong and productive relationships with core partners (CXT Product Management, EFS Strategy and EFS Sales) to ensure alignment with the EFS Operating Plan.
  • Integrated Change Management: Apply structured change management methodologies to project delivery, ensuring business readiness, identifying people-side risks, and developing strategies to minimize resistance and maximize adoption.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

The Ideal Candidate Possesses:

  • Education & Experience: A university degree in business or a related field with 3+ years of project delivery and/or product enablement experience, ideally within financial services.
  • Enablement Mindset: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a proven ability to use data to create simple, creative solutions.
  • Business Acumen: Deep knowledge of EFS processes (Retail or Mortgages) and a strong understanding of financial goals.
  • Adaptability: The ability to pivot as needed in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple project deliverables.
  • Project & Change Expertise: Proven experience in managing projects and a solid understanding of change management principles.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skill in Google Suite (including Gemini) and hands-on experience using JIRA for project tracking and backlog management. Familiarity with EFS core systems (CRM, TRBK or Account Origination) is an asset.
  • Professional Certifications: Prosci (or equivalent Change Management certification) is highly preferred. Designations in Project Management (PMP/CAPM), Business Analysis, or Agile are considered strong assets.

Don’t meet all the requirements on the list?
A resume only goes so far in expressing who you are and the unique perspectives you bring. If you believe your skills and experience align with the role—but you might not check all the boxes—we want to hear from you. We encourage candidates from all work backgrounds, equity-seeking communities and experience levels to apply. If you’re seeking a career where your drive, perspective and growth are celebrated, we want to hear from you.

We’re dedicated to building a workforce reflective of those within our communities, and a culture where our team members are equipped with what they need to succeed—their way. Part of creating an inclusive workplace is recognizing our role in advancing Truth and Reconciliation. We are committed to meeting and exceeding the standards set out in the Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations program created by the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.
