The Village Clinic, our local OAT and addiction clinic in downtown Courtenay is looking for a family physician who has experience with or is interested in learning addiction medicine, to join us. Sadly, Dr Jack Bryant will be retiring in September leaving a big void with a need for another physician. We mainly provide OAT with as needed only primary care.

Addiction Medicine Consult Services (AMCS) teams work with people and clinical colleagues to develop plans for individuals who have been admitted to the hospital due to an acute illness and where their substance use may impact their recovery. Find more information here.

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:
- Recruitment Incentive - $10,000
- Fee Premium - 6.93%
- Annual Flat Fee - $10,739.52
- Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to a maximum of $15,000 (amount based on funding availability and on location relocating from);
- Rural CME starting at $2,200/annum in years 3 & 4 in the community, increasing to a maximum of $4,400/annum after 4 years
