We are currently seeking a fresh graduate to join our team in Calgary for a co-op opportunity.

Job Summary

The Architecture Student supports architectural teams across multiple phases of project development, from early design to construction documentation. This role offers hands-on learning opportunities in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment and is ideal for students seeking to gain practical experience and contribute meaningfully to real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design + Documentation

Support the preparation of presentation and drawing packages across all project phases, including master planning, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation. Assist in the development of proposals and design competitions as required. Build proficiency in BIM platforms such as Revit, Rhino, Enscape, and other design software. Support visualization tasks including rendering, diagrams, and graphic outputs.

Project Support + Coordination

Work collaboratively with project teams to complete assigned tasks and meet deadlines. Contribute to product and systems research to support design development. Ensure all work aligns with the firm’s Project Delivery standards, including proper use of filing systems, adherence to architectural procedures, and compliance with drawing and documentation protocols.

Team + Culture

Actively engage in a collaborative, open studio culture and learn from mentorship by senior staff. Communicate clearly, manage time effectively, and contribute positively to the team dynamic. Participate in a 100% in-office environment that prioritizes flexibility, cross-functional collaboration, and knowledge sharing. Adhere to all company health and safety protocols and policies. Able to work in a collaborative, in-office environment (100% in-office presence required to support direct team engagement and effective cross-functional coordination).

Qualifications

Enrolled in an accredited architectural program. Strong working knowledge of Revit, Rhino, Enscape, and other design and visualization tools. Familiarity with SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite. Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and high level of motivation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to organize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Detail-oriented and eager to learn within a collaborative team setting.
