Job Description Job Summary: The Billing Analyst is responsible for the support of the billing system(s) and ancillary support applications which support Cogeco’s customer-focused operations and billing. The role is responsible for the documentation, launch, maintenance, update, and operation of these systems. This role supports proper testing, audit, and ensuring billing assurance processes are in place.

Job Responsibilities

  • System Integration & Maintenance: You'll support and maintain integrations between various systems like the Sales Portal, Digital/Web, and ticketing platforms, including tax software like Vertex.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: The role involves assisting with quality assurance, including testing and validating system changes and ensuring proper audit compliance. You'll also help with auditing initiatives related to revenue, operations, and government regulations.
  • Continuous improvement: The role requires identification of manual and/or inefficient tasks, leading to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Documentation & Data Integrity: You'll assist in documenting requirements and change requests, while also helping to maintain data integrity and standardization across customer, product, and transaction tables.
  • Team Collaboration & Training: You'll work with internal teams to support new product initiatives and will also be able to train others on billing system tasks.
  • Show respect to each and every teammate, employee, and customer.
  • Be curious, ask questions and keep learning.
  • Protect the organization by keeping information confidential and safe

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of back-office/admin billing system experience preferred
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Cable and Broadband Video and High Speed Internet products and services
  • Detail-oriented, analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams like Finance, Marketing, Product, Care, etc
  • Great organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
