About the role
Studio Paolo Ferrari is seeking a Senior Project Manager with deep experience in the interior design or Architecture industry to lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring that the design vision is executed with precision, integrity and excellence. You will collaborate with an award-winning team on projects that are conceptually rich, meticulously detailed, and created for some of the world’s most respected brands and clients while contributing to a high-performance, collaborative studio culture.
- Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior design, or a related discipline
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, NCIDQ, LEED AP) considered an asset, but not required
- 8-10+ years of project management experience within interior design, architecture, or related fields, experience working with luxury clients or brands is a plus
- Demonstrated senior-level expertise in Construction Administration, with a minimum of 3+ years leading CA execution, site oversight, and project delivery through construction
- Strong familiarity with international building code and/or local OBC knowledge
- Software proficiency: Bluebeam, AutoCAD ; Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Procore, Oracle Aconex, BIM360, Monday.com and other Project management tools. Revit and SketchUp are an asset.
- Strong skills in Project & Client Management, Budget & Cost Management, Schedule Management, Technical Documentation, Organizational and Process minded
- Project Leadership: Experienced in overseeing more than one complex mid to large scale full project through Construction Administration lifecycle.
- Specialized experience in leading and administering all aspects of the CA phase including documentation revisions, RFI’s, Site Instructions, Change Orders, Site Reports, Meeting Minutes, Deficiency Reviews, mock-up inspections, shop drawing reviews, Item Trackers, Progress Documentation, Official Correspondence, Progress Updates
- Design Execution: Collaborate closely with designers to ensure translation of design intent through documentation, material selections and execution
- Stakeholder Coordination: Primary liaison between clients, consultants, contractors and fabricators; must have vendor/supply chain experience, site/construction experience
- Clear communicator (verbal and written), Solution-oriented mindset, Strong Leadership presence with collaborative style, a natural sense of aesthetic discernment and a passion for craftmanship, high standards of professionalism, discretion and accountability
- Travel Requirements: role may require travel, including international trips, for site visits, shop inspections, and client meetings as required by project demands
This is a full-time position based in Toronto, Canada. Candidates must be Canada based, able to work in office, and must possess a valid work visa.
