Job Summary
The Shipper & Receiver will be responsible for scheduling and controlling incoming/outgoing shipments to/from customers, vendors, suppliers etc. Ensuring incoming and outgoing materials are in good condition and tracked in inventory accurately.

- Status: 3-month contract
- Shift: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm
- Location: Calgary N.E.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Communication with their colleagues, supervisors, and managers.
- Identifying parts from quality control that are ready for shipment.
- Responsible for creating packing slips, adding machining times, and scanning a completed work package to SharePoint.
- Ensuring work packages are attached to the correct basket.
- Loading all prepared shipments safely onto the truck and to the requirements of each driver.
- Receiving, picking, and sorting office supplies, parts, tools, and magnesium stock.
- Positioning the newly received stock into the shop.
- Confirms all information for manufacturing for each received basket entering the facility.
- Conducting Pre-Use Inspections of mobile equipment.
- Operating equipment including hand tools, pallet jack, and forklift.
- Manual and mechanical lifting/moving equipment, materials, and supplies which can include setting up and operating an overhead crane.
- Adhering to health and safety protocols including always wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Performing routine housekeeping around the shop.
- Occasional photocopying, printing, and other job duties assigned as required.
Required Abilities, Knowledge, Experience

1-2 years shipping and receiving experience preferred.

Basic computer skills and ability to navigate through Shipping App and SharePoint.

Experience with utilizing various hand tools.

Capable of moving heavy equipment, materials, and supplies up to 23 kg (50lbs).

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees and supervisors.

Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
