About the role

Infosys is seeking a skilled OIC & VBCS Technical Project Manager to provide ongoing support, maintenance and enhancements for OIC and VBCS solutions. The role involves working closely with client to troubleshoot issues, managing defect fixes and implementing functional and technical improvements to existing integrations and VBCS extensions. This role requires a hands-on approach with appx. 50% focus on developing new solutions/enhancements and 50% on supporting and maintaining existing integrations and VBCS applications.

Required Qualifications:

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Calgary or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 8 years of IT experience with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in OIC and VBCS

  • Proficient in developing integrations using OIC adapters, orchestrations and mappings

  • Design and develop solutions using OIC and VBCS for the enhancements/defects

  • Solid understanding of REST and SOAP web services

  • Experience in AMS - supporting, monitoring, troubleshooting and enhancing existing solutions

  • Good understanding of Oracle Cloud SaaS modules (e.g. ERP, SCM) and their integration patterns

  • Good experience with error handling strategies and ability to perform resubmissions via tools like Postman and SOAP UI

  • Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams

  • Experience managing team size of 2-3 would be a plus

  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

  • Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve issues in production and non-production environments for OIC and VBCS applications

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and defect resolution

  • Ensure high-quality, scalable and maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards

  • Mentor and guide junior developers and team members in OIC and VBCS

  • Prepare technical documentation, including design specs, deployment guides and support procedures

The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
