Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $83,000 to $114,000. The final offer will be determined based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and internal equity considerations. Please note that the offer may fall anywhere within the posted range and is not necessarily at the top end.

Overview: This role provides leadership and oversight of digital communications to ensure effective, consistent, and accessible communications that support TI Corp’s digital strategy goals. It is responsible for coordinating content planning, governance, and performance across web and social platforms, while managing priorities, resolving issues, and fostering collaboration with internal partners. The position also leads team development and continuous improvement efforts, strengthening digital practices, accessibility compliance, and overall channel effectiveness.

Key Accountabilities: Manages the day‑to‑day operation of assigned digital channels to ensure content is consistent, accurate, accessible, and aligned with established standards. Manages emerging issues by developing appropriate responses, adapting approaches as needed, and escalating to the Director when guidance or decisions are required. Oversees the implementation of digital standards and accessibility requirements to ensure compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Manages the approval process for digital content submissions by Projects for external digital communications. Liaises with GCPE and MOTT to manage digital content across web and social channels. Supervises and supports staff through work planning, coaching, feedback, and performance management building skills in content creation, digital tools, accessibility, and best practices. Monitors web and social media performance, identifies operational issues and shares insights to support continuous improvement. Ensures deliverables are completed on time and meet established standards. Collaborates with the Director to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities to support broader project and team planning. Manages priorities for daily web and social media work, ensuring alignment with established digital standards and communications goals. Reviews and guides content planning, including content calendars, audits, and repurposing, to ensure work is coordinated, timely, and consistent across channels. Oversees social media channels and community engagement, including posting, monitoring, and coordinating responses. Partners with Communications and Project teams to support public engagement and manage day‑to‑day issues on social platforms. Supports the Director in enhancing the effectiveness of social channels (e.g., LinkedIn) by implementing strategies and translating direction into practical operational actions. Oversees the corporate website, project sites, and intranet to ensure content is clear, usable, accessible, and up to date. Identifies and addresses usability, navigation, and content structure issues, coordinating continuous improvements to web platforms. Oversees TIConnect operations, including implementation, coordination, and ongoing improvements aligned with established direction. Required to be on call on a rotating basis on evenings and weekends in case of urgent communications needs.

Qualifications: A degree in Communications and experience in graphic design, content creation, web technology or communication, social media management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Communications role with related work experience: writing for various social media channels, writing for web, graphic design, and community engagement. Strong experience with current trends and active posting with standard social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube). Experience in using Microsoft Office, CMS software (e.g. WordPress, SharePoint), scheduling and monitoring software (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and related programs. Experience using editing and content creation software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Adobe Premiere and/or Apple Final Cut Pro. Preference may be given candidates with: photography and graphic design skills. familiarity with content management systems and web analytics. public sector communications experience. Strong customer services and interpersonal skills. Exceptional oral and written communications skills. Successful completion of security screening will be required as a condition of employment with TI Corp.
