Position Title
Food Server
Position Summary
The food servers are responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensure quality service in the Cornerstone Dining Room and act as the main contact between the kitchen staff and customers.
Position Responsibilities

Confirm reservation details, including date, time, guest count, and special requests.

Ensure tables are set for service by placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, napkins and glassware
-
Use a notepad or POS system to record orders promptly and accurately; clearly noting any special requests
-
Clear empty plates and occasionally assist in washing dishes.

Payment options for guests’ cash, credit card, or digital payments.

Inform guests of any menu or policy changes promptly and professionally.

Offer the best available seating with a welcoming attitude.

Quickly resolve customer complaints or service issues while maintaining personable and professional communication.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent to about 12 years of schooling.
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of a 1-year college certificate, one year University or equivalent.

$20.40 / hour
Benefits and Compensation Information
An additional 15% of the hourly rate in lieu of vacation, statutory holidays and benefits.
