Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician, Gross Margins, on a full-time temporary basis with our Retail Accounting team (term up to 12 months).
This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

What you’ll do:
- Audit Co-op inventory packages to assess gross margin calculations for accuracy and consistency.
- Investigate irregularities and provide guidance to General Managers and department leaders, including recommendations for procedural or system improvements
- Review JDE RREC output to identify miscoding or processing errors and recommend corrections
- Liaise with FCL vendors to verify the accuracy of direct ship billing.
- Other duties as required .

The Team: You’ll join a collaborative accounting team of 35, reporting to the Retail Accounting Supervisor and working with peers across the Co-operative Retailing System to resolve discrepancies and support margin accuracy. The team fosters a culture of excellence through open communication and strong collaboration.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in accounting and:
- Have a high school diploma, two progressive accounting courses from an accredited post-secondary institution and a minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience.
- Candidates with a high school diploma, four progressive accounting courses from an accredited post-secondary institution, and a minimum of one year of relevant accounting experience will also be considered.
